A Message From Our 2018 Chair
Dear Community Partner,
This year we celebrate the 18th year of the Symphony of Trees to be held at the Armory Arts and Events Center from November 7 – 11. Through community support and contributions from the 2017 Symphony of Trees, we donated over $20,000.00 to each of three chosen agencies, the Henry County Hospital, Northwest Ohio CASA, and the Center for Child and Family Advocacy, all earmarked for programs and services benefiting the children of Northwest Ohio. We are pleased to announce that, since its inception, the Symphony of Trees has donated over $950,000.00 to agencies focusing on children in Northwest Ohio!
A sincere thank you is extended to everyone who has continued to support our organization through the years. I have personally volunteered with the Symphony of Trees since 2009 and championing the children in our community continues to be my goal and that of the Symphony of Trees.
The Symphony of Trees committees are now busy planning this year’s Symphony, Dreaming of a White Christmas. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for all of its activities:
~ Wednesday, November 7, 2018 — Children’s Activities and Open house for the public with the Gift Shop, the Sweet Shop and the Silent Auction area opening at 3pm.
~ Thursday, November 8, 2018 — Victorian Tea and Business After Hours/Volunteer Appreciation (in conjunction with the Henry County Chamber of Commerce)
~ Friday, November 9, 2018 — Community Soup & Salad Luncheon and Tunes in the Trees
~ Saturday, November 10, 2018 — Tapestry of Tables and Symphony Gala
~ Sunday, November 11, 2018 — Sunday Brunch, Jingle Bell Jam and Children’s Pajama Party
The Symphony Gift Shop, Sweet Shop, and Silent Auction areas will each be open to the public throughout all events. The Gift Shop provides holiday gifts and home décor that everyone is sure to love, while the Sweet Shop features homemade treats including cheese balls, noodles and all of your favorite sweets. Bidding in the Silent Auction area allows participants to benefit the children of this area while obtaining wonderful items.

Symphony of Trees would not be possible without its many donors and volunteers. And, of course, we always welcome those who wish to volunteer on one of our many Symphony of Trees committees.
